Our last project was fabric printing. This was essentially the same method as lino cuts but with a softer block to cut from. We were each given a bag and a scarf to print on. I chose to print snakes, thinking of gifting the finished project to my sister, who currently has a reptile theme going on. At first I wanted the snakes to come out solid, but I was over all satisfied with the almost grainy look that the came out with. The white faded spots look like scales and give the animals more dimension.
